I'm Lexi -- the face behind the lens -- and I'm so happy you're here. I've had a camera glued to my hand since I was 13 (thanks for sparking the passion, MySpace!). Nearly 12 years later and not much has changed. I have a true love for capturing people genuinely, and I'm alllll about emotion. I'm born + raised in Ottawa, Illinois and attended Illinois State University for my undergrad. I majored in communication, and you'll quickly realize it was a perfect fit because I'm a little chatterbox. 

I'm a golden hour light-chaser and seeker of beautiful nature backgrounds. I adore shooting in dreamy natural light, and I typically schedule my sessions around the sun. 

I live to travel and have been to four countries so far. When I'm not out shooting I'm most likely day-dreaming over a cup of coffee about my next adventure. So in other words... yes I am open to traveling for sessions for those outside of Illinois or the United States *wink wink*. 

At the end of the day I just really love people. Human connection is absolutely amazing and I strive to capture it as rawly and organically as possible. Thanks for reading about me, and I can't wait to get to know you!
